| | Many miles from the nearest city you have New Path Trail and what a great place for hiking it is. The high level of rainfall makes New Path Trail a pretty wet place; during November this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is February. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the White Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything New Path Trail has to offer, you can camp at Green Meadow Camping Area, and let's not forget Gulf Brook which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here.

Stay the night at Crawford Notch General Store and Campground, and obviously Burnt Knoll Brook flows through this neighborhood. Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. There are some great whitewater spots on Ellis River; if you come at the right time of year, Saco River - East Branch offers some tremendous whitewater.
