Old Jackson Road is a trail quite far from Berlin but it is one of many great trails in this area. Peabody River - West Branch is a great whitewater spot close to Old Jackson Road; a fine place to explore is Pinkham Notch. Old Jackson Road gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture.
