| | A visit to New Hampshire is not complete without some hiking. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Old Mast Road in Carroll County, New Hampshire is a great place to go. During the long summer days here at Old Mast Road, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Old Mast Road are in the 0's. It's a long drive from Laconia to Old Mast Road but It's always fun to hike here.

time of year, Wonalancet offers some wonderful whitewater. Old Mast Road is a good place of typical precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the White Mountains.
| Spring Brook is in the vicinity of Old Mast Road and is always a pleasure to pop by, and camping is available at Jigger Jonnson Campground 2.
This is a really good river. Glide down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak, and why not camp at Pass Campground if you're here at Old Mast Road. Hiking trails are all over the White Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
Kelly Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at; Birch Intervale is a pleasant place to check out. | |
