| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Osgood Trail in Coos County, New Hampshire is just what you need. Osgood Trail is a long drive away from Berlin but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Chandler Brook is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at, and Madison Gulf is another good place to check out close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Osgood Trail, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime |
are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Osgood Trail.
With so many outdoors activities available in New Hampshire you'll never get bored. Osgood Trail gets much water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains
| the most; the driest of the months is January. Paddling on Peabody River is so much fun.
This is such a fun river. Visit Parapet Brook if you're here at Osgood Trail; camping is available at White Birches Mtn Camping Park. Whitewater paddling is great on Peabody River - West Branch, and a good location to camp here at Osgood Trail is Timberland Camping Area. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the White Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
