| | Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Passaconaway Trail in Carroll County, New Hampshire is the outdoors at it's best. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The White Mountains is peerless! Camping at Passaconaway Campground is always a great experience, and why not take a little spree to Albany Brook if you're here. This river has it all. If you came to camp Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a glorious spot to do that; Swift River is a nice whitewater spot nearby.
There are many hiking trails in the White Mountains where wonderful nature |
is waiting for you. Louisville Brook is near Passaconaway Trail and is always a delight to stop by, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River.
It's a long drive from Laconia to Passaconaway Trail but if you're
| looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. At Passaconaway Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Passaconaway Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Passaconaway Trail is a reasonably wet place typically with a large amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
