| | Gotta get out of the city man, and Prospect Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is a great place to go. Prospect Trail is not very near Laconia at all but hiking it is great fun any time. Do schedule some time to explore Carns Cove in the neighborhood of Prospect Trail if you have a chance; why not a little side trip to Bennett Brook. With so many outdoors activities available in New Hampshire you'll never get bored.
This river is so good. Beebe River is a perfect whitewater spot close to Prospect Trail, and camping at Ames Brook Campground |

is always a magnificent experience. For the period of the summer at Prospect Trail temperatures are regularly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Prospect Trail temperatures
| descend to the 0's.
West Brook is a fine place to go to, and Prospect Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Bethel woods Campground is a nice local campground. Prospect Trail gets a common amount of annual precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. So much fun stuff close to Prospect Trail, just astonishing.
