  It's a long drive from Laconia to Prospect Trail but what a great place for hiking it is. A visit to New Hampshire is not complete without some hiking. In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Mad River is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Prospect Trail, and why not visit nearby West Brook if you're here at Prospect Trail.
During the summertime months at Prospect Trail temperatures are generally in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. High
