Pretty far from Laconia you find Ramsey Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Take a little trip to West Brook since you're here at Ramsey Trail, and Ramsey Trail is a great location to camp, Bethel woods Campground is a great location. This part of New Hampshire is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Smarts Brook, and beaches are wonderful and Center Harbor Town |

You simply have to go for the White Mountains. Bennett Cove is near Ramsey Trail and is a brilliant spot to stop by, and get dripping wet paddling
| on Beebe River. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Ramsey Trail; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This is such a fun river. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ramsey Trail has to offer, you can camp at Provident winnipesaukee Campground, and Bennett Brook is near Ramsey Trail and is always a pleasure to explore.
