| | Hiking here in New Hampshire is a must. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Red Cross Trail. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Red Cross Trail, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Red Cross Trail dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Red Cross Trail is a good place of common rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. |

Cummings Meadow Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and do set aside some time for Cummings Meadow since you're here at Red Cross Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ashuelot River - South Branch. There's so much to do here at
| Red Cross Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Monadnock State Park Campground is a magnificent place for that. There are plenty of people from Keene here at Red Cross Trail, and Gay State Forest is a glorious local forest. There's whitewater on Contoocook River for all you adrenaline kick people; Red Cross Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Woodbrook Camp and Tennis Club is a tremendous local campground. Red Cross Trail is not very near Keene at all but it's one of those places where hiking is great.
