  It's a long drive from Laconia to Red Path but hiking it is always fun. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains, it's a great hiking area. The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. There's so much to do here at Red Path that you need to camp here for a while, Jigger Jonnson Campground 2 is a fine place for that; whitewater paddling is nice on Bearcamp River. Red Path is a good place of typical rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
And if that's not enough there's
    heaps more exciting things to do in the White Mountains. Here at Red Path you'll in all probability meet some folks from Laconia, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Spring Brook. Kelly Brook is a wonderful local stream; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Wonalancet.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Red Path in Carroll County, New Hampshire is just the place. And that's not all you can do here at Red Path. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Red Path, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Red Path are in the 0's.
This part of New Hampshire has a great deal of available
 
outdoors activities. Red Path is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pass Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a trip to Birch Intervale invigorates the soul.
