| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? if you happen to be in Carroll County of New Hampshire, Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Camping at Bethel woods Campground is always a good experience; while here here do go to nearby Center Harbor Town Beach. High temperatures at Ridge Trail through the summertime are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs |
in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ridge Trail.
Ridge Trail is a long drive away from Laconia but it is a great escape from the city. A fine spot to camp here at Ridge Trail is Arcadia Tent and Trailer Park; whitewater paddling is good on Smarts Brook.
| This river is so good. It's a splendid idea to visit Smith Brook, it's close to Ridge Trail; don't forget to stop by True Cove while you're here.
New Hampshire has so much to offer nature lovers. Ridge Trail gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Ridge Trail has it all. Lots of people from Laconia come to Ridge Trail.
