I hike this trail every year with friends, and camp for a couple of days.

Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the White Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. A quick spree to Downes Brook near Sawyer Pond Trail is a perfect idea, and if you came for an overnight stay Passaconaway Campground is a fine spot to camp.
At Sawyer Pond Trail all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's |

while the cold winter nights at Sawyer Pond Trail are in the 0's. Pond Brook flows through this vicinity, and get covered with water paddling on Sawyer River. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Pass Campground is a wonderful local campground, and
| whitewater paddling is good on Swift River.
