  You'll have to go far from Berlin to get to Shoal Pond Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. At Shoal Pond Trail during the summer months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while Shoal Pond Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do right next door to Shoal Pond Trail.
Whitewall Brook is a stunning stream that is worth visiting; nearby you locate good spots
    like Zealand Notch. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Don't leave Shoal Pond Trail without
first paying a visit to Thoreau Falls, and Pemigewasset River - North Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby.
Shoal Pond Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Tarry-ho-cottages is a tremendous local campground; camping at Dry River Campground is always a great experience. Why not check out nearby Norcross Brook if you're here at Shoal Pond Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ammonoosuc River. New Hampshire has lots of outdoors activities.
