| | In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Slide Trail is a trail quite far from Laconia but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Some of the water close by flows, like Downes Brook; camping is available at Passaconaway Campground. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Swift River, and camping at Pass Campground is always a good experience.

get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Grafton County of New Hampshire, Slide Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
