  There are many hiking trails in the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. If you are in New Hampshire during hiking season you have to go hiking. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Slides Downes Brook Trail in Grafton County, New Hampshire is a great place to go.
Slides Downes Brook Trail is not very near Laconia at all but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. A short visit to Sabbaday Falls
    is always worthwhile, and the nice folks of Wonalancet like to hang out nearby. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Why not camp at Pass Campground if you're here at Slides Downes Brook Trail. Nothing beats kicking back
at Moultonborough Town Beach, and if you came for an overnight stay Passaconaway Campground is a good place to camp. A pleasant spree to The Bowl is a good way to spend an afternoon; get yourself into a kayak and hit Swift River. Everybody loves Crawford Notch State Park; get dripping wet paddling on Swift River. But wait, there's more to do close to Slides Downes Brook Trail. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Center Harbor Town Beach. A normal amount of rainfall
