| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Carroll County of New Hampshire, U.N.H. Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. There's whitewater on Sawyer River for all you adrenaline people, and camping at U.N.H. Trail is magnificent fun, Pass Campground is a magnificent local campground. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Swift River, and U.N.H. Trail is a good spot to camp, Passaconaway Campground is a good spot.

of precipitation falls here at U.N.H. Trail; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. At U.N.H. Trail through the summer months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime
| are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to U.N.H. Trail. New Hampshire is a good place for outdoors people.
There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. This river is so great. Some of the water nearby flows, like Downes Brook; hey, Pond Brook is a wonderful local stream.
U.N.H. Trail is not very near Laconia at all but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. | |
