There's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline kick people, and there's some flowing water close by, Ledge Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay. From a rain point of view Waterville Cutoff Trail is a rather typical location; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the |
one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. So much amusing stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too wonderful to be true. There's so much to do here at Waterville Cutoff Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pass Campground is a great spot
| for that, and naturally Horne Brook flows through this area. You'll have to go far from Laconia to get to Waterville Cutoff Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. If you came to camp Passaconaway Campground is a nice place to do that; you can run the rapids of Sawyer River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Waterville Cutoff Trail. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Waterville Cutoff Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. | |
