The trail is a loop that is fairly steep. Try the longer, 2.4 mile side, for going up. Nice views at the top. I took us 3 hours with a rest at the top.

water paddling on Swift River; some close by water includes Meadow Brook. A lot of rainfall falls at White Ledge Trail; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.
All through the days
| of summer here at White Ledge Trail, high temperatures generally get into the 50's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's while White Ledge Trail overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. It's a long drive from Laconia to White Ledge Trail but what a great place for hiking it is.
