  Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a long drive away from Hagerstown-Martinsburg but it sure is a nice trail. This is a great river. Camping is available at Brunswick Camp Site, and Israel Creek is right next door to Appalachian National Scenic Trail and is always a pleasure to visit.
Put some time aside to spend at Yourtee Spring while you're here at Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and don't miss out on a tour to Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail if you're here. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Appalachian National Scenic
    Trail highs are regularly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Appalachian National Scenic Trail temperatures fall to the 20's. Appalachian National
Scenic Trail is a good spot of common precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month.
There are plenty of folks from Hagerstown-Martinsburg here at Appalachian National Scenic Trail; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Potomac River. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Appalachian National Scenic Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Maple Tree Campground is a splendid location to camp; Pleasant Valley is in the vicinity, and is a delightful place.
