  In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors fun. All year is a good time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you love the outdoors. Bandelier National Monument is a very good location to pop by in close proximity to Agua Piedra Trail, and you must certainly dedicate some time to Rincon del Cuervo since you're here at Agua Piedra Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Agua Piedra Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's while Agua Piedra Trail night low temperatures during the
    winter are in the 10's.
Agua Piedra Trail is a place with many visitors from Los Alamos; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. Abiquiu Inn is a pleasant local campground, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Rio Chama.
At Agua Piedra Trail you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest.
When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Agua Piedra Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is a good choice. Why not camp at Juniper Campground if you're here at Agua Piedra Trail; Vallecito de los Caballos is another good location to take a look at nearby. There are many hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
 
You'll have to go far from Los Alamos to get to Agua Piedra Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Agua Piedra Trail.
