  Hiking trails are all over the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. While visiting this area in New Mexico it's a good idea to go hiking too. Pretty far from Los Alamos you find Alamo Springs Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Canít wait to get out in nature, Alamo Springs Trail in Sandoval County, New Mexico is such a great place.
Get covered with water paddling on Jemez River, and Bandelier National
    Monument is a great national park. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Stay the night at Juniper Campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Rio Grande.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Alamo Springs Trail has to offer, you can camp at Las Conchas Campground. The cheerful folks of Los Alamos like to hang out close by.
