Why not camp at Tesuque Pueblo RV Campground if you're here at Atalaya Trail, and a nice place is Arroyo Mora. If you came for an overnight stay Rancheros Campground is a good site to camp, and Aztec Spring is a tremendous local attraction. driest month. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some nice whitewater, and you can take a little spree to Two Mile Reservoir Dam since you're here at Atalaya Trail. Lots of people from Santa Fe come to
| Atalaya Trail, and let's not forget Aztec Springs Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. Summertime highs at Atalaya Trail regularly tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Atalaya Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Santa Cruz, and Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a splendid national park.
