  Bear Canyon Trail is located quite a long drive from Silver City but it is a great escape from the city. Camping at Cherry Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience, and Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is a glorious local destination. Not much precipitation falls here at Bear Canyon Trail; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and April on the other hand is the driest.
Hiking trails are all over the Black Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. When was the last time you got out in nature
    a bit? Bear Canyon Trail in Grant County, New Mexico is a perfect place for getting out. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Black Range. It's always brilliant to visit Allie Spring, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Gila River.
This river
is a wonderful place to visit. People from Silver City love to come to Bear Canyon Trail, and if you came to camp McMillan Campground is a perfect site to do that. While visiting this area in New Mexico it's a good idea to go hiking too.
All through the summertime at Bear Canyon Trail highs are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bear Canyon Trail.
