Apache Creek, and Black Canyon Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Scorpion Corral Campground is a great local campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Black Range. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling
| on Gila River, and do put some time aside to spend at Eddie Spring if you're here at Black Canyon Trail.
Hiking here in New Mexico is a must. A good site to camp here at Black Canyon Trail is Mesa Campground, and a splendid spot close by is Black Canyon.
For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Black Canyon Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Canyon Trail. | |
