  Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Grant County of New Mexico, Black Peak Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. No chance of getting bored in New Mexico if you like the outdoors.
There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Black Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Black Range for a good time. Float down the rapids of Gila River in a kayak; if you came to camp Cherry Creek Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. At Black
    Peak Trail you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July while April is frequently the driest month.
Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is a great national park, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at McMillan Spring. High temperatures
at Black Peak Trail through the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Black Peak Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Black Peak Trail is not very near Silver City at all but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice.
There's so much to do here at Black Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, McMillan Campground is a brilliant location for that, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Silver City here.
