| | Bland Frijoles Trail is a long drive away from Los Alamos but it's one of those places where hiking is great. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Bland Frijoles Trail in Sandoval County, New Mexico is a great place to go. That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Why not camp at Las Conchas Campground since you're here at Bland Frijoles Trail; if you haven’t been to Bandelier National Monument, you must schedule some time for it if you're here.

Hiking trails are all over the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. A good location to camp here at Bland Frijoles Trail is Juniper Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande.
