  Pretty far from Los Alamos you find Cabra Loop Trail but it is a great escape from the city. New Mexico is a great outdoors state. There are some good whitewater spots on Rio Grande; you can stay the night at Cottonwood RV Park. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Cabra Loop Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is such a great place.
For the duration of the summertime here at Cabra Loop Trail, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the
    40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Cabra Loop Trail. There's whitewater on Rio Chama for all you thrill seekers, and Bandelier National Monument is one of the destinations that are glorious to pop by nearby. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Agua Piedra Canyon;
