| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Crest Trail in Torrance County, New Mexico is a perfect place for getting out. New Mexico is a great place for hikers. It's a long drive from Albuquerque to Crest Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. For the period of the summer at Crest Trail highs are generally in the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crest Trail.

up generally; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. It's always good to go to New Canyon Number One Spring; Crest Trail is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Capilla Peak Campground is a tremendous spot to camp
