Encino Trail

  New Mexico is a great outdoors state. There are many hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Encino Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is a good choice.
Encino Trail is not very near Espanola at all but it is a really good trail. Rio Chama is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Encino Trail; Encino Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a
    day at, Rio Puerco Campground is a tremendous local campground. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. In the event that you donít have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Rio Chama. During your spree to Encino Trail you'll meet some folks from Gallina for sure. A good location to camp here at Encino Trail is Echo Campground, and you undeniably must have a look at Fenton Lake State Park if you're here. Valle de la Grulla is a splendid place to check out nearby. It is very dried up here at Encino Trail generally. August is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Encino  
Trail generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Encino Trail are in the 0's.
