Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Granny Mountain Trail in Grant County, New Mexico is just what you need. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you.

are plenty of folks from Silver City. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the San Francisco Mountains has it all. A tour to Grapevine Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings, and Gila River is a great whitewater spot close by.

Put some time aside to spend at Rock Spring while you're here at Granny Mountain Trail, and Granny Mountain Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Flats Campground is a nice local campground. There's so much to do here at Granny Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Scorpion Corral Campground is a fine spot for that; if you haven’t been to Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here.
