No problem, Hanging Rock Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is the outdoors at it's best. Because Hanging Rock Trail is very far from civilization hiking it is great fun any time. There's whitewater on San Francisco River for all you adrenaline junkies.
New Mexico has lots of outdoors activities. A short trip to Dog Spring is always worthwhile, and a fine site to stop by is Windy Gap. So |
much fun stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains, not sufficient time. Spider Creek is a delightful local stream, and Hanging Rock Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Ben Lilly Campground is a wonderful local campground.

| Creek is a good place to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Hanging Rock Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Whitewater Campground is a glorious location for that. Hanging Rock Trail is pretty dried out ordinarily; during July this area sees the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
High temperatures at Hanging Rock Trail during the months of summer are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hanging Rock Trail temperatures fall to the 20's. | |
