If this: Highline Trail re: Rio Arriba County. This trail runs from Polvadera Peak to Chicoma Mountain (Rio Arriba's Highest) ...and is in the JEMEZ MOUNTAINS..NOT the San Juan. It refers to Abiquiu lots..so I assume it is. More infor in July or August when we'll be exploring it!

in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Highline Trail are in the 0's. There are some great whitewater spots on Rio Chama. You'll need more than a day to
| look at everything Highline Trail has to offer, you can camp at Juniper Campground. No chance of getting bored in New Mexico if you like the outdoors. It is very dehydrated here at Highline Trail generally; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and April is when it's the driest. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too great to be true. At Highline Trail you always meet someone from Los Alamos; you can stay the night at Las Conchas Campground. | |
