  Pretty far from Silver City you find Little Creek Trail but It's always fun to hike here. This part of New Mexico is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. At Little Creek Trail throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Little Creek Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. It is very waterless here at Little Creek Trail mostly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and
    April is when it's the driest.
A pleasant site to camp here at Little Creek Trail is Dipping Vat Campground. Gila River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Little Creek Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Scorpion Corral Campground is a
magnificent local campground.
We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Little Creek Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a perfect place for getting out. Just can't get enough of the San Francisco Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Gila River, and McKenna Spring is a magnificent local attraction. In the San Francisco Mountains there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
