  There are many hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Be careful coming to the San Francisco Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Log Canyon Trail has to offer, you can camp at Ben Lilly Campground, and a good site is Dog Gulch. Log Canyon Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, Whitewater Campground is a good place to camp nearby; let's not forget South Fork Silver Creek which is a stream that you may stumble
    upon during your stay.
There's whitewater on San Francisco River for all you adrenaline kick people. Log Canyon Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking it is always fun. At Log Canyon Trail you don’t see much rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain;
April meanwhile is the driest month.
Gotta get out of the city man, and Log Canyon Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. A tour to Fanny Spring will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings, and there are some great whitewater spots on San Francisco River.
