Be careful coming to the San Francisco Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Log Canyon Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, Whitewater Campground is a good place to camp nearby; let's not forget South Fork Silver Creek which is a stream that you may stumble |

There's whitewater on San Francisco River for all you adrenaline kick people. Log Canyon Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking it is always fun. At Log Canyon Trail you don’t see much rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain;
