Los Pinos Trail

  New Mexico has lots of outdoors activities. There are many hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. A long drive separates Los Alamos from Los Pinos Trail, but it is one of many great trails in this area.
Hey, time for a hike donít you think? Los Pinos Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is a great place to go. Fenton Lake State Park is a pleasant location to stretch your legs a bit, and paddling
    on Jemez River is so much fun. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Why not camp at Nacimiento Campground if you're here at Los Pinos Trail, and whitewater
paddling is magnificent on Rio Chama. If you desire a little side visit, try Puertecito de las Perchas; some of the water close by flows, like Rito Anastacio. People from Counselor love to come to Los Pinos Trail; Clear Creek Campground is a good local campground. So many cool things to do at Los Pinos Trail, so little time. Summer at Los Pinos Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime  
the highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Los Pinos Trail sink into the 0's. Around Los Pinos Trail you donít get a lot of rainfall. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is April.
