  With so many outdoors activities available in New Mexico you'll never get bored. There are many hiking trails in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Sawmill Creek is a brilliant location to pop by.
It is very dry here at Lost Lake Trail ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Lots of people from Taos come to Lost Lake Trail, and you can stay the night at Italianos Campground.
    Get yourself into a kayak and hit Red River, and don’t forget to stop at La Cal Basin if you're here at Lost Lake Trail.
Lost Lake Trail is not very near Taos at all but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get
out in nature a bit and Lost Lake Trail in Taos County, New Mexico is just the place. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Lost Lake Dam, and Lost Lake Trail is a wonderful spot to camp, Twining Campground is a wonderful spot.
The warmest time of the year at Lost Lake Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Lake Trail.
