| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? McKenzie Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is the outdoors at it's best. With so many outdoors activities available in New Mexico you'll never get bored. During the summer months here at McKenzie Trail, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at McKenzie Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.

Francisco Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Why not camp at Ben Lilly Campground since you're here at McKenzie Trail, and Gila River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where wonderful
| nature is waiting for you.
A good site to camp here at McKenzie Trail is Willow Creek Campground; you could always explore Turkeyfeather Pass. Many miles from the nearest city you have McKenzie Trail and it's one of those places where hiking is great. At McKenzie Trail you don’t see much rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is May.
