  Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Miller Springs Trail in Grant County, New Mexico is a great place to go. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Summertime highs at Miller Springs Trail typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Miller Springs Trail.
With so many outdoors activities available in New Mexico you'll never get
    bored. Pretty far from Silver City you find Miller Springs Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
Miller Springs Trail is pretty arid usually; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is April. Gila River
has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Miller Springs Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Scorpion Corral Campground is a good spot for that. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Francisco Mountains. Miller Spring is an inspiring location to visit while here, and Miller Springs Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Flats Campground is a great local campground.
