| | Can’t wait to get out in nature, Number 3 Lift Trail in Taos County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. Around Number 3 Lift Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Red River, and camping is available at Italianos Campground.

Rio Grande for all you adrenaline kick people, and there's some flowing water nearby, Lake Fork is a stream you can stop at during your stay. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. Number 3 Lift Trail is located
| quite a long drive from Taos but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
Through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Number 3 Lift Trail. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Number 3 Lift Trail. You'll meet a lot of folks from Taos here; camping at Twining Campground is always a tremendous experience. As long as you like the outdoors you will like New Mexico.
