  Outdoors people generally like this part of New Mexico. The warmest time of the year at Pajarito Canyon Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pajarito Canyon Trail. It's a long drive from Los Alamos to Pajarito Canyon Trail but what a great place for hiking it is.

A short spree to Armstead Spring is always worthwhile, and camping at Pajarito Canyon Trail is splendid fun, Las Conchas Campground is a splendid local campground.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Grande, and the sights at Bandelier National Monument will blow your mind. A tour to Pajarito Canyon Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Pajarito Spring, and nearby you stumble on Canada Bonita which is a tremendous place to pop by. So many fun things next to Pajarito Canyon Trail, absolutely remarkable.

There's whitewater on Rio Chama for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you're visiting from Los Alamos, you won't be the only one. There are many hiking trails in the San Juan Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you.
