| | Gotta get out of the city man, and Pajarito Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is such a great place. Pajarito Trail is a good place to camp, Juniper Campground is a good place, and Alamitos Canyon is another fine site to pop by close by. Pajarito Trail is a location that is pretty dry ordinarily; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Visiting Bandelier National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Pine Spring is an inspiring site to stop by while here. Stay the |
night at Cottonwood RV Park, and you can run the rapids of Rio Chama. Hiking in New Mexico is such a great thing to do.
Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Juan Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Pajarito Trail is not very near Los Alamos
| at all but when you hike it you're always having a good time. During the summertime months at Pajarito Trail highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pajarito Trail plunge into the 10's.
Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more cool things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from Los Alamos here; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Rio Grande. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really abundant here at Pajarito Trail. | |
