No chance of getting bored in New Mexico if you like the outdoors. Patos Mountain Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it's one of those places where hiking is great. Through the summer months, highs regularly are in the 90's at Patos Mountain Trail. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Patos |

There's so much to do here at Patos Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Nogal Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that, and a short trip to Patos Spring is always worthwhile.

| a rather dehydrated place; most of the rain falls during August, and April on the other hand is the driest. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Sacramento Mountains. If you came to camp Mountain Springs Ranch Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine site to do that, and a visit to Patos Mountain Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at York Spring. In the Sacramento Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
