  Puerco Espin Trail is a trail quite far from Los Alamos but It's always fun to hike here. In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. At Puerco Espin Trail all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Puerco Espin Trail temperatures sink to the 0's.
