  Gotta get out of the city man, and if you happen to be in Rio Arriba County of New Mexico, Puerco Espin Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. New Mexico has so much to offer nature lovers. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rio Chama, and a quick tour to El Rechuelos is positively a brilliant idea.
You'll have to go far from Los Alamos to get to Puerco Espin Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. If you came for an overnight stay Redondo Campground is a splendid place
    to camp, and it's a splendid idea to take a look at East Fork Polvadera Creek. Summertime highs at Puerco Espin Trail regularly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter
lows in the 0's overnight here at Puerco Espin Trail.
