  Gotta get out of the city man, and Rechuelos Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is the outdoors at it's best. In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Summertime at Rechuelos Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Rechuelos Trail.
So many entertaining things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains,
    too delightful to be true. A tremendous place to camp here at Rechuelos Trail is Las Conchas Campground; if you're visiting from Los Alamos, you won't be the only one. Pretty far from Los Alamos you find Rechuelos Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature.
With so many outdoors activities available in New Mexico you'll never get bored. Rechuelos Trail is a location that is reasonably dehydrated regularly; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is April. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Chama, and if you're looking for a delightful tour, Bandelier National Monument is quite near.
Camping is available at Abiquiu Inn, and there's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
