  This part of New Mexico has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Red Canyon Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is a great escape from the city. Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Red Canyon Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a great place to go. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Little Deep Creek, and why not camp at Whitewater Campground if you're here at Red Canyon Trail.
For the period of the summer at Red Canyon Trail highs are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. The
    cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Red Canyon Trail night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Ben Lilly Campground is a good place to camp, and Log Canyon is also a tremendous place to look at.
You
can run the rapids of San Francisco River right next door to Red Canyon Trail; a visit to Red Canyon Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Pine Spring. This place is peerless, just check out all the fun stuff to do next to Red Canyon Trail. All year is a great time in the San Francisco Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. San Francisco River is a great whitewater spot next to Red Canyon Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dead Man Spring.
