Hiking trails are all over the San Francisco Mountains, it's a great hiking area. At Ring Canyon Trail during the summer highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Ring Canyon Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Ring Canyon Trail is a trail quite far from Silver City but it's one of those places where hiking is great.
