| | Rio Molino Trail is a long drive away from Santa Fe but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Rio Santa Cruz in a kayak, and going to Santa Fe National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Embudo; Rio Molino Trail is a fine location to camp, Borrego Mesa Campground is a fine location.

in all the beauty of these mountains. Rio Molino is a fine local stream, and you can stay the night at Trampas Diamante Campground. Rio Molino Trail gets very little precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least
