At River Trail you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Clear Creek is a striking stream that is worth taking a look at; do put some time aside to spend at Leon Spring if you're here at River Trail.

and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at River Trail. Stay the night at Clear Creek Campground; Canon de la Vegitas is close at hand, and is a great site.

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Take a side tour to Dove Creek, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Rio Chama. | |
