River Trail

  There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Hey, time for a hike donít you think? River Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is a good choice. New Mexico is a good place for outdoors people.
River Trail is a trail quite far from Espanola but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. You can run the rapids of Rio Chama right next door to River Trail, and there's some
    flowing water close by, Clear Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. That right there is a lot of entertaining things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Leon Spring is a nice local attraction,
and if you want a little side tour, try Canon de la Vegitas. You'll meet a lot of people from Counselor here It's always fine to stop at Lion Spring. River Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Nacimiento Campground is a magnificent local campground. A tour to Fenton Lake State Park when you're here at River Trail is a tremendous idea, and camping at Clear Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. And if that's not enough, there's a  
lot more to do next to River Trail. Dove Creek flows through this area. River Trail gets very little rainfall. The month with most of the rain is August, and April is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at River Trail get into the 80's.
