| | When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? River Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is a perfect place for getting out. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Juan Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things right next door to River Trail.
A river like this is too good to miss. A tour to River Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lion Spring, and River Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Nacimiento Campground is a great local campground. |

So much exciting stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too pleasant to be true. If you're here at River Trail, you could visit Clear Creek; Canon de la Vegitas is a wonderful spot to spend some time. Why not stop by close by Dove Creek since you're here at River Trail; you
| can run the rapids of Rio Chama.
Leon Spring is an inspiring site to stop at during your stay, and camping at Clear Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. Not much rain falls here at River Trail; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest month of the year is April. Hiking here in New Mexico is a must.
Summertime highs at River Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at River Trail. River Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a good trail. | |
