| | Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Saint Peters Dome Trail in Sandoval County, New Mexico is a good choice. New Mexico is a good place for outdoors people. Saint Peters Dome Trail gets very little rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and May is when it's the driest. It's a long drive from Los Alamos to Saint Peters Dome Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature.

no exception; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande. There's so much to do here at Saint Peters Dome Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Juniper Campground is a good spot for that, and Turkey Springs is a wonderful local attraction. So many entertaining things
| in the San Juan Mountains, just inspiring. If you came to camp Las Conchas Campground is a great site to do that, and there are some great whitewater spots on Jemez River.
Here at Saint Peters Dome Trail there are plenty of people from Los Alamos. Hiking trails are all over the San Juan Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. For the period of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Saint Peters Dome Trail with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Saint Peters Dome Trail sink into the 0's.
