  New Mexico is a good place for outdoors people. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Juan Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. For the duration of the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at San Lorenzo Trail. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at San Lorenzo Trail dip into the 10's. A short journey to San Lorenzo Spring is always worthwhile, and Rio Chama is a pleasant whitewater spot
    close by.
San Lorenzo Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Abiquiu Inn is a delightful local campground, and don't miss out on a trip to Bandelier National Monument since you're here. San Lorenzo Trail is a location that is reasonably dried up typically;
August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Yeah, come here to San Lorenzo Trail for a tremendous time. A great location near San Lorenzo Trail is El Banco del Apache, and there's some flowing water close by, Gallina Creek is a stream you can check out while here.
And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting things to do in the San Juan Mountains. While you're here at San Lorenzo Trail you will meet lots of people from nearby Los Alamos, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
 
paddling on Rio Grande. San Lorenzo Trail is a trail quite far from Los Alamos but hiking it is great fun any time.
Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and San Lorenzo Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is just what you need. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Camping at Juniper Campground is always a perfect experience, and La Canada del Cerro is near San Lorenzo Trail and is always a pleasure to visit.
