  Hiking in New Mexico is such a great thing to do. Santa Fe Trail is a reasonably wet place regularly with much rain; September is when you get the most rain here, and May meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the months of summer at Santa Fe Trail highs are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 70's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 70's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Santa Fe Trail sink into the 60's.
Santa Fe Trail is very far from the nearest big city and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
